Warner Brothers Announce The Matrix: Special Edit 243
Kartik3 writes "IGN.com is reporting that Warner Bros. is releasing a 2-disc special edition DVD of The Matrix (loaded with extras) on April 29th and The Animatrix (An Anime series set in the world of the Matrix) DVD on June 3rd." If Animatrix is half as cool as the promo comic that was given out at the Matrix opening, I'll like it.

You leave yourself in a bit of a pickle. Either you watched the Matrix yourself, which makes you just as pitiable, or you didn't see it and therefore aren't in a position to comment on whether we should pity others who have. Sorry, just couldn't resist. :-)

How do they get away with this? Simple: it works. People buy newer editions, and as long as something sells well enough they'll continue to keep it up. The day everyone learns not to buy the same movie more than once, we'll no longer be treated like morons by the studios this way.
