Mozilla to remove Firefox version numbers

  • Good. If you're going to switch to a Chrome-like crazy release schedule, then interrupting the user every other week is incredibly stupid.

    They should have done this first, before abusing the version numbers.

  • It's becoming harder and harder to take Mozilla seriously these days. Who are these changes actually supposed to benefit? I don't see how including a piece of information is harmful to anyone. Between the version numbers BS and UI regressions, I'm switching to another browser once 3.6 is EOL'd.

Thrashing is just virtual crashing.
