coondoggie writes "Apparently nuclear or huge, heavy bombs are not enough for the Air Force. No siree, it wants the ultimate bomb, a futuristic explosive that can, in its words, defeat well-defended, hard and deeply buried targets. The Air Force has issued a request for information to look for particularly innovative ways to use emerging technology or on technology that can “reasonably be expected to be available by 2031.”"
