whoever57 writes: Patent trolls like to claim that patent laws provide a way that small inventors can create products and benefit financially from their invention. One such inventor faces selling his house, despite inventing a product that has sold tens of millions worldwide.

    of course not

  • For as long as the legal system is too expensive due to complexity and the ability the side with the more money to stonewall the other, no, it doesn't.
    The high cost of the legal system is true for every true democracy I know of, from my Brazil, to USA, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, ...
    The patent protection period should be shortened so instead of 20 years from patent filing, patents would be valid for 8 years from the patent being granted, likely forcing patents to be filled for actual industrial usage

The longer the title, the less important the job.
