An anonymous reader writes "Yeah, yeah, yeah, everybody knows there's a connection between math and music. But that connection, it appears, is way deeper than anyone had thought. A composer and music theorist has found that music is really an exploration of the geometry of hyperdimensional objects. Exploring these geometries has given him new ways of understanding pieces of music that have long baffled theorists and even led him to new insights into the history of music. The article has cool pictures and videos, too."
