  • Why is insider trading a crime?

    It's done, as far as I understand, extremely often, and very few are actually caught on it. OK, so they have an advantage. Big deal. But the stock market is inherently risky and it's gamed in all sorts of ways. If you don't want to take the risks, don't play the stock market game. I suspect part of it is the "fuck the rich" mentality.

    I doubt the average person is even deeply affected by insider trading, although maybe I'm wrong. It seems more to me like one rich person h
