Fluffeh writes: I have been recently looking to get a tattoo, but have been stuck for ideas and something meaningful, then I have up with the idea to get part of my genetic code sequenced and use about 150-200 characters of the code. I do also want to get an similar sized sample of code from Mitochondrial Eve and Y-chromosomal Adam so that the entire tattoo would be a symbol of my father, mother and myself. My understanding of sequencing is rather small, so am asking: Is identical DNA really in certain sections of our genetic code really identical back to these scientific versions of Adam and Eve (and where might I get a copy of this), and is it possible to get a section of my own code sequenced (which part should I do if I am looking for something rather unique to me) without spending huge sums of cash?
