Submission + - Open Source OnRamp Shuts Shop Following Security Breach (paritynews.com)

hypnosec writes: OpenX, which successfully completed a $22.5 million series E funding just last month, has announced that it is shuttering its open source ad platform – OnRamp, citing increased risk and costs following a security breach of the service on February 9. Through its public forum OpenX said that following increased number of hacking attempts; the impossibility of continuing secure operations because of sophisticated and powerful intrusions that exploit open source software; the effect these may have on its customers, it has decided to close OnRamp service.
