Typically yes. But it's been known for awhile when the new Farscape miniseries would air, so it'd be easy to draw that particular one well in advance. It's just like doing theme comics meant to run on holidays and so forth.

Not very, unfortunately. I tend to procrastinate more than I should, so I often turn my strips in to my syndicate roughly two weeks before they run in newspapers. My syndicate would prefer it if I had a lead time of four to six weeks. Because color must be added, my Sunday strips get turned in six or seven weeks in advance.

Your logic is incorrect. You deliberately use exclusive or, indicating that what you linked to ought to make things either clear or clearer but not both. This effectively means that what you linked to will not make things clear, unless it was already clear to begin with (since moving from unclear to clear is the excluded 'clearer' action).
You probably should stick with something like "that ought to make things clear, or at least clearer".

Back on topic to Farscape though, the show was actually fairly good early on, and then things got pretty weird, pretty fast and then the Sci-Fi channel found much better shows including the Stargates.

The movie ("Serenity") is in post production, and will come out 4/22/2005. The decision by which Universal will judge success is primarily opening weekend box office numbers.

Oh, damn. That is painful to hear. I wish someone had told me. :( I still haven't seen all of the 3rd/4th season episodes, it would have been really nice to catch up on them before the miniseries. That sucks.

Any idea where I can find a torrent for that final episode (4x22, "Bad Timing")? I've checked suprnova, tvtorrents, and googled for it. Even checked alt.binaries.tv.farscape (which is still loading all the thousands of headers, very slowly).

I like the new show 'Lost' quite a bit, plus the Sigfried & Roy bits of 'Father of the Pride' are freaking brilliant at times (especially the 7-11 episode).

My guess is either they were cloned at some point, or those laser blasters teleported them somewhere and left fake shells behind to be destroyed, so that everyone will think they're dead. Even if you don't plan on using the screensave, please fill out the form (bogus info if you want) and download it. Increase their download count so they know people are interested in the show. They've already contacted the likes of UPN to say that they would advertise on the network if they picked up Farscape.
So, show them you care, even if you don't. The more money that goes to Farscape, the less that goes to SciFi's sub-B "Original" movies.

Unlike Farscape, Babylon5 wasn't canceled. JMS planned for 5 seasons, and although it was rough at times, he got all of them. Everything was wrapped up; the show is done.
I do think there is a movie in the works, but they had better hurry up. The actors keep dying.

I don't know whether that's how it was shot or not, but it's being aired as two double length episodes of about 90 minutes each instead of four regular episodes.

That is good to know. I heard the commercial saying it was two episodes, and wondered how much they could do in two hours minus commercials. It sounds like you mean four hours minus commercials, or three hours.
I started watching Farscape recently. My wife has been watching it ever since we got married, and being a bored housewife, started channel surfing while I was at work. She has seen most of the episodes and is a fan (but not one of those scary fans that goes to conventions dressed up with Spock ears).

I looked at Best Buy (the store, not the web site) after posting my previous message. It looks like I can buy individual DVDs with two or three episodes in 16:9, or boxed sets in 4:3 but for less money per season. Sigh. I need widescreen. Hopefully there is another boxed set I can buy in 16:9. The good news is both versions have Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks.

Why doesn't John get married to that alien already so we can have the series end. They keep dragging it and dragging it. It's like a soap opera in space. It's freakin annoying.
Well, if you'd actually watched it, you'd know that John was avoiding Aeryn because Scorpi was watching them, and John didn't want Scorpi to be able to use Aeryn and the coming baby as leverage against him. All scifi series are space soap operas. Farscape was the most innovative scifi around. Unfortunately, the TV channels, and most viewers, just want yet another Star Trek with a different cast.
