More Beowulf Rumours

Jerkweed has written in with an update on what is happening with Beowulf. Again, this is somewhat unconfirmable, but it seems reasonable. "The eth drivers are back up, but beowulf is still down. Apparently Becker had a nice little chat with some government hoseheads and slapped them straight about that. Progress is being made, and hopefully we'll see a resolution of the situation soon. One rumor that I've been hearing is that a lot of the pressure is coming from the NSA...who not so coincidentally is providing some of the funding for the whole project. Sounds kinda like their standard paranoia about code breaking/national security crap. I'll keep y'all posted with what I hear. "
