Thanks to Slashdotters from SyNet's Dhiren Rana

Kurt Gray writes "Regarding yesterday's heated discussion over the MS defense of the brand "Internet Explorer" over the objection's of SyNet: Several people suggested and are willing to contribute to a fund to help Dhiren Rana, the founder of SyNet, whose his daughter has leukimia, (according to one poster, I haven't confirmed that) and SyNet has had to fold since it couldn't afford the legal battle. The fund is an inspired idea, it hasn't materialized yet, but at least I was able to contact Dhiren Rana (rana@synet.net) and direct his attention to the Slashdot discussion. Dhiren writes: I can not thank you enough for kind words.. I breifly glanced at yoursite and I was very touched by the kind words... If my tears could speak... all your members would hear my thanks.... Trial starts tomorrow, there are attempts on part of powers to be to sell out, but I have faith...All I can do is wait. Thank you again, please pass along my thanks and gratitude to your members. Once this is over I will respond to the kind remarks.. Thank you, Dhiren "
