Jay wrote in to let us know about his current project - a portable CDR based-MP3 player (is that possible? what about the Fraunhoffer patents?) that uses Linux and plays CDs in addition to MP3s. It sounds as if it's coming along nicely, but it still has quite a bit of work left, and he says he needs help. Read on for more.
